Informational Video for Crappie Fishing in the Winter

The video embedded below is a video from Sam Sobi that was posted on his YouTube channel around a year ago. In this video, he talks about techniques but also just shows you how fun crappie fishing can be during the winter months. The video is also very useful because it describes how sometimes it is important to stay stationary when fishing for crappies in the winter. After all, they tend to swim in big schools at a relatively slow pace. When fishing for crappies a lot of people try to use the technique of staying mobile and drilling lots of holes to find the fish, but sometimes it can be greatly beneficial to let those fish come to you, and Sam's success in this video depicts that well. During the video, he can be seen catching a bunch of sunfish early on while the sun is still out, but the later into the day it gets, the better the fishing seems to be. Close to sunset Sam starts to catch some nice-sized crappie, and that just shows you that staying stationary and having a line in the water during those optimal bite windows is very crucial when targeting these pan fish. Overall, Sam has had a very successful outing and I believe there is a lot to gain from watching this video so give it a watch!
